In 2001 at a race at the Texas Motor Speedway, Hamilton crashed and was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries as well as almost having to get his legs amputated. At the breakfast, Hamilton gave his inspirational story about his road to recovery, his triumphant return to the world of racing and his newly formed partnership with the team Kingdom Racing. In addition, author Pat Morley spoke about the current economic crisis and the entire audience received a free copy of his new book, “How to Survive the Economic Meltdown.” Morley has written 11 books and is very sought after author as well as speaker. “Man in the Mirror,” his most renowned book has sold more than 6 million copies across the nation.
